The Vishwanath temple should be next on your must-see list. This one, too, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Inside, there is a beautiful marble shivalinga, along with a colossal sculpture of Nandi the bull. Lord Shiva is believed to be hailed as 'Vishwanath', meaning meaning 'the lord of the universe'. If temples do not fascinate you so much, worry not, because Khajuraho has more to offer. You can check out the Raneh Falls, which is located some 20 km from the main town. Sometime in February/March, Khajuraho also celebrates its annual dance festival, which highlights the various Indian dance forms and cultures. The festival is held for seven days.
