Buddha Purnima, also known as Buddha Jayanti, marks the birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. It is also believed to be the day he attained enlightenment. As such, it is an auspicious day for Buddhists around the world. So, let's take a look at how the country celebrated the festival with utmost fervour.
