For Taapsee Pannu, Manmarziyan has given her many firsts. This is the first time the actor has collaborated with ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and also her dream to visit Kashmir came true. Taapsee shot for the last leg of the film's shoot in Kashmir and has been sharing many pictures from the location.
On April 16, the actor shot the last sequence of the film and announced wrap on Manmarziyan with a heavy heart. She took to her Instagram account and wrote, "Dear Kashmir, You truly proved to be “Paradise” for me. Lost and found wali feeling became beautiful courtesy you. Phir milenge...... agli baar jab mausam thoda behtar hoga! Love Rumi ❤️"
In another post, Taapsee mentioned, "Last day on #Manmarziyaan and how badly I will miss venting out my madness “In the garb of” being Rumi. With that dramatic pose and a smile on my face...... bidding goodbye to this AMAZING journey."
Taapsee Pannu also shared a behind the scene photo with Anurag Kashyap in which she credited the director for bringing out the best in her. "There are some directors who guide you through and some directors who exhuberate such energy that you just can’t help but be your best and give your best and the best just happens. You are the latter mister @anuragkashyap10 you truly are the wind beneath Rumi’s wings. Get well soon क्यूँकि अभी तो मुझसे ओर बोहुत लड़ाईयाँ लड़नी हैं ।😁 (Get well soon because there are more quarrels to have)" she wrote.
Along with Taapsee, Abhishek Bachchan was also shooting for the film in Kashmir. However, the actor kept his look under wraps and shared pictures of the beauty around him.
Manmarziyan will release later this year. The date is yet to be announced.
