On Sushant Singh Rajput’s first death anniversary, here’s a collection of photos from his school and college days.
Sushant Singh Rajput's social media account had this old photo of the actor. He wrote, "#collegedays #2006 first bike I bought from the money I earned by giving tuitions to aspiring engineering students . Some things make u feel sooooo good.:))." (Photo: Sushant Singh Rajput/Facebook)
Varun Kumar, one of Sushant's friends from college, posted some photos from their days together. "I am new to Instagram or most of social media but I will try. Sushant and I are friends from college. We started in 2004 batch at DCE and we were roommates for most of the time he was in Delhi. We shared so much, had insane amount of fun, and grew up together. So much so, that we were ready to chase our dreams for life, and for that he moved to Mumbai and life took me to US. He spoke about wanting to meet me in his dream list. I also wanted to meet him badly. And I was hoping we will meet at some point and relive our memories! I never expected that he can be snatched away from my life like this at the age of 34. I will never be able to describe the friendship we share and the pain I am in today," he shared in September last year. (Photo: varundce87/Instagram)
Varun Kumar shared another photo where it is a little difficult to recognise Sushant. (Photo: varundce87/Instagram)
The post caption read, "My only buddy ❤ PS - I think we were holding a baby sheep :)." (Photo: varundce87/Instagram)
Sushant's friend shared, "I think we sat near this river in Manali for a long time. He was keenly looking at the splash of white water jumping off of rocks! I know my brother has moved on with the same bursting energy, and is doing great where he is! If he is somewhere I will figure out sooner or later. If he is nowhere I will definitely join the party :)." (Photo: varundce87/Instagram)
"I am really thankful to you all for caring about him! I wish you all feel the thrill of LIFE the same way as we felt every moment and still feel! Sushant was only high on life and he will always be!," he added. (Photo: varundce87/Instagram)
Arti Batra Dua, another friend of Sushant Singh Rajput, had shared photos of her memories of the late actor. Last year, a post of Arti read, "A person who was so jolly-natured, full of life and a reason for everyone’s smile, is no more." She further wrote, "Sushant was a very close friend. I met him for the first time in my XIth class. He was a very different person. Adorable, charming, cheerful, caring, and loving are only a few words to describe him. He used to make friends very easily. His presence changed the aura around from gloomy to joyous in seconds. He was a heartthrob of our school at that time. Sushant was a down to earth and a simple person. He had an intellect for higher studies and showed a great interest in Physics. He was an allrounder. From academics to extra-curricular, he used to do everything with a full heart." (Photo: Arti Batra Dua/Instagram)

Another schoolmate of Sushant, Atul Mishra shared his story via Facebook last year. He wrote, "To my friend Sushant, Hope you are happy wherever you are. Whenever I thought about you, I never saw the star. I saw the tall lanky boy who always had troubles articulating. You were a fantastic friend Sushant. I remember that cycle race we had from Boring Road to Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan, Patna. I remember countless group study sessions that we used to have at my home where I taught English and Biology to the group and you taught us Physics. I remember my mom specially cooking food for you because your mother had left for her heavenly abode by then. I could see the gratitude and thankfulness in your eyes. Sushant, you were wonderful and now that you are no more, I feel a void in my life." (Photo: Atul Mishra/Facebook)
"In the past 9 years that we stopped talking, I have loathed and loved you, I have mocked and missed you, I have felt ashamed and proud of you. Now that you are no more, I feel sorry for loathing and mocking and feeling ashamed of you. Now that you are gone, I miss you, love you and I am proud of you. We will race again my friend someday. We will sit again someday. We will eat together again someday. We will discuss what went wrong with you? In Next world or next life, we will meet again. Until then. I will miss you. Atul Kumar Mishra," wrote another of Sushant's friends. (Photo: Atul Mishra/Facebook)
