The latest trend that seems to be going around in Bollywood is keeping your love life secret. Gone are the days, when the stars used to flaunt their relationships, appearing in interviews and talking about how madly in love they were.
Now, especially with the newcomers, keeping mum and the line 'We're just friends', even though most them turn red while saying so, is the new fad.
Stories about 'R… Rajkumar' co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have been doing the rounds for sometime now. Shahid and Sonkashi met on the sets of action flick and hit it off immediately, reportedly having a blast during the film's promotions.
The rumoured love-birds were next seen together on Karan Johar's controversial chat show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ and seemed more than just comfortable in each other’s presence. And this selfie we laid our hands on - which has Sonakshi Sinha kissing her 'Rajkumar' - says a lot about this growing 'friendship.' Are Sonakshi and Shahid the new love birds of Bollywood.
Anushka Sharma – Virat Kohli: The new addition to our list of celebs who are not ready to define their relationship status is Anushka Sharma. The 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' actress Anushka Sharma, who has always maintained ‘just friends’ status with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, was seen walking hand in hand with him in Auckland, New Zealand.
According to reports, Anushka Sharma specially flew to Auckland to spend some quality time with her rumoured beau Virat Kohli, who is there for the Test matches along with the Indian team.
Filmmaker Karan Johar also embarrassed the actress by asking her about her relationship with the Indian cricker, to which Anushka replied, “I'm feeling very naked right now.”
Nargis Fakhri – Uday Chopra: Though the two have denied any sort of special relationship, Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri have been spotted enjoying each other's company quite a few times. The couple was recently spotted holidaying in Maldives. Like Katrina, Nargis was also seen in a bikini. While Dhoom's Ali was in beach shorts.
Also, the couple seems to have taken social media flirting to a whole other level. Uday is well known for tweeting sweet nothings to the beauty. However, we hear that Nargis is not too keen to tie the knot so soon.
Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif: The duo met on the sets of their film, 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' in 2009. They were spotted together quite a few times initially but denied any romantic involvement.
However, this year the couple have been making public appearances together, yet they still remain mumb. Pictures of Ranbir and Katrina dining with Ranbir's mother Neetu kapoor and family have also made their way to the net. But the biggest catch, was when the paparazzi spotted the couple holidaying on the beach in Spain. And his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor also spilled the beans on their relationship in a candid interview with Karan Johar on 'Koffee With Karan.'
Bipasha Basu – Harman Baweja: Playing the perfect gentleman, Harman Baweja is always pictured by his rumoured ladylove's side. The couple has been making quite a few appearances together as well. What's interesting is that Harman is Priyanka Chopra's former flame and Bipasha was also supposedly dating Shahid Kapoor.
Rumours suggest that the four of them used to spend quite a bit of time together then. Looks like it worked out well for Bipasha and Harman. Harman was spotted with Bipasha at his Diwali party and later for a movie date.
Aditya Roy Kapur – Shraddha Kapoor: 'Aashiqui 2' lead actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor apparently hit it off while filming the love story. Soon after that, they were spotted spending time together.
However, when quizzed on their relationship status, duo prefer to maintain that they are just friends. However, this is one couple we have our fingers crossed for.
Huma Qureshi – Anurag Kashyap: The industry was buzzing when rumours of Anurag's marriage to Kalki Koechlin was said to have hit a rough patch. The director then himself admitted that the couple were going through some problems and were spending time separately to solve the issues.
However, it later cropped up that the cause of the problem was none other than Anurag's increased closeness to actress Huma Qureshi. The duo met during the filming of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. However, Huma has firmly denied the rumour.
Alia Bhatt – Arjun Kapoor: 'Student of the Year' actress Alia Bhatt has been linked with her '2 States' co-star Arjun kapoor quite a few times. We hear the actress is good friends with his sister Anshula as well. However, time and again she has denied the rumours saying she is too young to concentrate on love.
Interestingly, Alia Bhatt has also been linked with Varun Dhawan. It's time she comes clean, don’t you think?
Akshara Haasan - Tanuj Virwani: Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara is not making headlines for her movie debut but for her romance. According to reports she is close to Rati Agnihotri's son, Tanuj Virwani.
Apparently, the duo met when Akshara visited her mother Sarika on the sets of a film, where she was playing Tanuj's mother.
