The news of Reema Lagoo passing away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning left the film industry and her fans shocked. The actor who was busy shooting till late on Wednesday for her TV show Naamkarann, complained of chest pain and died around 3.15 am on Thursday. At Reema Lagoo's funeral, actor Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao said it was hard to come to terms with Reema's death because it was so sudden. "We all are still in shock because she didn't have any illness that we knew of. My first film was with her. She was a great actress and had a pure heart," Aamir said at Reema Lagoo's funeral. Rishi Kapoor also attended the last rites of the actor. Earlier in the day, he mourned the death of Reema as he tweeted, "RIP. Worked in quite a few films. Reema Lagoo. Good friend. Heartfelt condolences."
Kajol who played Reema Lagoo's daughter in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also reached Reema Lagoo's residence to pay her last respects to the veteran actor.
Reema's Naamkarann co-actors, Barkha Bisht, Viraf Patel and Gulfam Khan were also spotted at the funeral.

Actor Raza Murad also came to pay his last respects to his colleague Reema. Sharing a picture on his social media account the actor wrote, "My very very dear friend and old collegue, Reema Lagoo has passed away. It is just unthinkable and unbelievable that this graceful lady is no more." For Raza, Reema was just like his younger sister.
Actor Tanvi Azmi was also spotted at Reema Lagoo's funeral.
Reema Lagoo was 59. The actor would have turned 60 next month.
