According to sources, Pratyusha had placed an order for a bridal lehenga from designer Rohit Verma before she took the drastic step of hanging herself at her flat in Goregaon West on Friday afternoon. An officer close to the investigation said Banerjee’s parents had said in their statements that they did not suspect Rahul Raj Singh to be responsible for the death. “They did not express any suspicion or claim any foul play. Kamya Punjabi has raised suspicions over her good friend Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicidal death. Addressing the media after completing the last rites of Pratyusha, Kamya said, “We don’t know whether it is suicide or not. But there were injury marks on her nose and cheeks. Rakhi Sawant, a close friend of TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee who allegedly committed suicide on Friday (April 1), says the “Balika Vadhu” star was “tensed” about her relationship with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
