
Actor R Madhavan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani came up with a unique event to promote their upcoming film 'Saala Khadoos'. The promotional event was planned to introduce the film's leading lady Ritika Singh, a real life boxer, who is making her debut in Bollywood with Saala Khdoos. "I was crazy about martial arts. At at the age of three, I started training in karate. I never thought of acting …Bollywood. I have not seen many films. When this offer came (I accepted it as) I liked the story," Ritika said at the event. Talking about mainting a balance between her boxing training and acting, Ritika said, “I would love to do films as it is a different experience. I am open to do all kind of films. I want to try something else as I can’t do action. I have got beaten up and beat up people. I will continue to train whenever I have fights. I have a knee injury… hope it gets well soon." Rajkumar Hirani, who is one of the producer's of the movie, said he wants to show 'Saala Khadoos' to people associated with sports. “We didn’t go the sports ministry to get any support. We have made the film and now since the film has been made, we wish to show it to numerous people associated with sports and if they watch and then talk about it, we’ll be delighted,” said Hirani.
