Salman Ali won the tenth season of popular singing reality show Indian Idol. The finale saw the presence of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Super Dancer Chapter 3 judges Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapur were also present.
Along with with the title, Salman Ali won Rs 25 lakh. While first runner-up Ankush Bhardwaj won Rs 5 lakh, second runner-up Neelanjana Ray also took home a cheque of Rs 5 lakh.
Salman Ali has already sung a song for Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and the TV show Chandragupta Maurya.
Indian Idol season 10 finale also saw the judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Javed Ali perform on stage.
The top five contestants were given a chance to perform along with renowned musicians Javed Ali, Suresh Wadkar, Bappi Lahiri and Alka Yagnik.
