Among the 14 students who secured 100 percentile is Punjab’s Mrinal Garg. Hailing from Bathinda, Mrinal’s father Charanjeet Garg is a businessman and his mother Rinu Bala is a homemaker. He credits his elder brother and his teachers — both at school and coaching academy — for his success.

Another student in the 100 percentile club is Andhra Pradesh’s Koyyana Suhas. Hailing from Sri Kakulam district, Suhas wants to pursue BTech in Computer Science from IIT-Bombay or IIT-Delhi. He secured 98 per cent in AP Inter examination and also appeared for other entrance exams like AP EAMCET and KVPY. “I believe that hard work and consistent effort is the only key to crack this exam,” he said while talking to indianexpress.com
Uttar Pradesh’s Saumitra Garg also got a perfect score in the JEE Main results. Saumitra credits his success to both elder siblings who guided him during the preparation phase. Apart from JEE, he has qualified KVPY with an AIR 464. Saumitra, like all other toppers, wants to pursue BTech in Computer Science from IIT-Bombay
Karnataka’s Boya Haren Sathvik. Boya was actually surprised after learning that he secured 100 percentile in JEE Main 2022. In fact, Sathvik initially got 290 marks but he raised an objection against a question in Chemistry after which he scored 295 and registered himself as the state topper.

Aditya Ajei, whose parents are teachers at government schools, said it feels special to be the Bihar topper after JEE Main Result 2022 was declared Monday. Ajei, who is waiting for his Class 12 board examination results, scored 99.843 percentile in JEE Main.

Gujarat’s Mahir Gadhiwala has topped the JEE Main exam in his state but the topper is surprisingly unaware about his success. Mahit is at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in Mumbai to take part in the 54th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) hosted by Tianjin China and is in a “no communication phase”. In the JEE Main 2022, Mahit secured a 99.99 percentile and 100 percentile in Physics.

For Ashutosh Agarwal, who topped the JEE Main 2022 in West Bengal after scoring 99.99 percentile, the coronavirus pandemic came as a blessing in disguise. Speaking to The Indian Express, Agarwal, a student of Narayana School in the Howrah district, said that the online mode of education during the pandemic helped him put in more hours as he was preparing for JEE Mains.

Rishik Saha, who emerged as the state topper in Tripura with 99.92 percentile as the JEE Main Result 2022 was announced Monday, is keen on “solving problems” and wants to pursue Computer Science. “Self-study is the key. It’s nothing like how people say 16 hours of study or so. I developed a habit to study daily for at least an hour…sort of to open the book and sit at the table. I studied Physics when I wanted to, tried maths when I felt like it,” he said.

Deeksha Dhiwakar from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu secured the 99.99 percentile in JEE Main 2022. In her first attempt, Dhiwakar scored 100 in Physics, 99.98 in Chemistry, and 99.97 in Mathematics.

With a score of 99.998 percentile, Nagpur resident Adwai Krishna has topped Maharashtra in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) – Main, session 1, result for which was declared on Monday. Krishna was preparing for his second attempt at JEE, session 2 to be held in a few days when he came to know about his results.

Ashmit Nangia and Hemanshu Garg are toppers of the JEE Main 2022 in Delhi and have another thing in common. Both of them want to pursue Computer Science at either IIT-Delhi or IIT-Bombay. While Nangia, 17, did not anticipate topping Delhi, he was aware of the score he would receive when the answer key for JEE was released on July 6.
