The final video recorded by conservative activist and Donald Trump ally Charlie Kirk before his assassination last week has been released, just days before a massive memorial in Arizona, US, in his honour.
“This is the last videos that we had Charlie record before he was taken from us,” Turning Point Action COO Tyler Bowyer said as he shared the clip on X late Tuesday.
The footage shows the slain Turning Point founder urging Arizona residents to register to vote ahead of the 2026 governor’s race.
“It’s game time, Arizona, but you can’t make plays if you’re not on the team,” Kirk said. “Register to vote now and lock in your early voting game plan. 2026 is Arizona’s Championship game and we need our whole team on the field.”
“Next year’s Arizona election is our chance to turn the game around and it starts with you getting ready to vote. Arizona’s counting on you to bring home the win,” he concluded, directing supporters to the Turning Point Action website to register.
Bowyer said he waited until National Voter Registration Day to share the clip. “Honor Charlie and take just TWO minutes to update your registration or register a friend or family member,” he wrote alongside the video.
Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA at the age of 18, was credited by Donald Trump with energizing young Republicans and helping secure the 2024 election. The former president is set to deliver remarks at Kirk’s memorial service this Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which can host 63,000 people.
Vice President JD Vance will also speak, after hosting Kirk’s weekly show Monday from the White House. Other confirmed speakers include Kirk’s widow, Erika, and senior Trump allies such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, and Stephen Miller.
Kirk, a father of two, was shot and killed last Wednesday while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. The suspected gunman, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was captured Friday after a two-day manhunt and appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday.
