Donald Trump Assassination Attempt: A 17-year-old high school student from Wisconsin has allegedly killed his parents in order to “finance” his plan to assassinate US President Donald Trump, FBI said as per newly unsealed court documents.

The suspect, Nikita Casap, has been detained and he faces nine felony charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse in Wisconsin.

Casap has been held for the killing of his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather Donald Mayer, 51 who were found dead on February 28 at their home, BBC reported.

According to a federal affidavit, investigators found written documents and text messages by Nikita Casap who called for the assassination of President Trump and overthrowing the US government.

The authorities added that the alleged killing of Casap’s parents could have been part of a larger plot to attain the “financial means and autonomy” to carry out his plan to assassinate President Trump, a CNN report stated.

Other than the nine charges which Casap is facing in Wisconsin, the federal investigators have charged him with presidential assassination, conspiracy and use of weapons of mass destruction, according to an affidavit.

The suspect’s phone contained materials related to neo-Nazi group called the Order of Nine Angles and praise for Adolf Hitler, the documents show. The materials also contained antisemitic writings.

“He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the president and overthrow the government of the United States,” the investigators wrote in the court documents.

Nikita Casap will appear in court on May 7 for an arraignment, where he will be informed about the charges formally.
