Russia says it launched ‘massive strikes’ on western Ukraine

Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Wednesday that Moscow had launched “massive” overnight strikes on targets in western Ukraine in response to what it called “terrorist attacks”. Ukrainian authorities have said that 10 people were killed and 40 wounded overnight in the attacks, including on a residential building in the western city of Ternopil.
