Mokshada Ekadashi Date 2024: Mokshada Ekadashi is a significant occasion for Hindus that involves the worship of Lord Vishnu.
The term “Mokshada” means “bestower of liberation,” emphasizing the day’s importance in helping devotees break free from the cycle of birth and death, ultimately leading to spiritual liberation or moksha.
On this day, followers engage in fasting, and prayers, and seek blessings for both their spiritual journey and material well-being.
They also participate in various rituals such as fasting, bathing, offering prayers, chanting mantras, and reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama.
Mokshada Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha.

Ekadashi, a Hindu festival, occurs twice a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha, with Mokshada Ekadashi falling in Margashirsha during Shukla Paksha.
As the name suggests, Mokshada Ekadashi holds the ultimate goal of achieving salvation, cleansing those of past misdeeds, and granting them a place in Lord Vishnu’s eternal abode, Vaikuntha Dham.
Worshipping Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi is highly auspicious, granting peace, prosperity, and life pleasures to those who pray to Lord Vishnu.
