Twitterati erupt into laughter as Baba Ramdev’s picture playing football goes viral

People of Delhi had a ball on Sunday evening when they saw yoga guru Ramdev running around in his quintessential saffron attire on the grounds of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The match, in which members of Parliament played against Bollywood actors, was organised by Adhunik Art Gallery, to increase awareness about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Andolan and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and the proceeds will go towards the same.

But believe it or not, Ramdev stole the show despite the Bollywood team having members like Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. Who could ever beat Ramdev’s swag! And he deserves an applause for his sporting spirit.

His pictures have gone viral on social media and there are people who actually want to learn the game from the guru. In fact, Rishi Kapoor, whose witty tweets almost always win the Internet, suggests that Ranbir’s football team should actually “adopt” BabaMessiDev in their team.

Just so you know, Baba’s team didn’t win even if he was the star attraction. Bollywood won with 10-0.
