Unabashed over a 2011 prediction of apocalypse being proven false, a Christian organisation has based its prediction on the same previous claim to warn that the earth would be destroyed this Wednesday.

Members of eBible Fellowship, an online church group, are convinced that God will destroy earth by fire this time.

“According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that 7 October will be the day that God has spoken of: in which, the world will pass away,” Chris McCan, founder member and leader of the group, told The Guardian.

Mcann believes that the earlier prediction is true as God has stopped selecting which churchgoers will survive on “judgement day”. And since then, God has turned his attention towards non-churchgoers, said Mcann.

“God destroyed the first Earth with water, by a flood, in the days of Noah. And he says he’ll not do that again, not by water. But he does say in 2nd Peter 3 that he’ll destroy it by fire,” McCann said.

Many religious leaders have prophesied that September 27 Super Moon would trigger a chain of apocalyptic reactions that will eventually be the end of earth. However, NASA debunked a few rumours that an asteroid would collide with earth saying that there is small chance of it happening.
