BPO services firm ExlService Holdings today reported an upswing in net profit at about USD 4 million for the quarter ended September 30,and improved its revenue guidance for this calendar year.
The company had registered a net loss of USD 1.08 million in the third quarter ended September 30,2008,EXL said in a statement.
We are pleased to increase our calendar year 2009 guidance for revenue to USD 178-180 million from USD 170-175 million and our adjusted operating margin to 13-13.5 per cent from 10-12 per cent, EXL President and CEO Rohit Kapoor said.
The firms revenue for Q3 FY09 stood at USD 48.2 million,against USD 46.6 million for the same quarter a year ago.
We experienced strong revenue growth this quarter and continued momentum in the market place. Our results reflect the investments and efforts that we have directed to execution and client centricity, he said.
Revenues from outsourcing services for Q3 FY09 increased 9.27 per cent at USD 37.7 million,compared to USD 34.5 million in Q3 FY08,while transformation services revenues dipped 12.5 per cent in the said quarter at USD 10.5 million.
The company has a cash balance of USD 117.5 million this quarter versus USD 114.3 million last quarter.
