Vivo has unveiled OriginOS 6, a next-generation operating system designed to deliver a seamless and intelligent user experience. Its core modules—computing, storage, and display—are optimized to work in harmony, ensuring superior performance across various tasks. The system introduces significant advancements in speed, stability, and personalisation, making it a cornerstone of Vivo’s latest devices.
The 8+1 Ultra-Core Computing architecture powers OriginOS 6, improving app cold-start speeds by 18.5% and frame-rate stability by 10.5%. Memory Fusion accelerates data loading by 106%, while Dual Rendering boosts animation performance by 35%, maintaining smooth operation even under heavy workloads. The Snap-Up Engine enhances responsiveness by prioritizing computing power for high-demand tasks like ticket booking. Vivo’s flagship X300 Pro, running OriginOS 6, has earned SGS certification for sustained smoothness, simulating five years of heavy usage.
OriginOS 6 emphasises visual and functional harmony through its Origin Design System, unifying colors, shapes, icons, fonts, and layouts. The new Vivo Sans2 font supports over 40 languages with adjustable weight for improved legibility and flexibility. Users can personalize their interface with the Lock Screen Grid, Home Screen Grid, Flip Cards, and Origin Island, which displays real-time information at the top of the screen. The Origin Animation System further refines transitions and motion, creating a fluid and intuitive user experience.
Deep integration of Vivo AI enhances productivity and creativity with tools like AI Retouch, AI Erase, AI Image Expander, Smart Call Assistant, DocMaster, and AI Search. These features streamline tasks, from photo editing to document management, making OriginOS 6 a powerful platform for both personal and professional use.
The rollout of OriginOS 6 begins in early November 2025, with updates for the Vivo X Fold5, X200 Pro, X200, X200 FE, V60, and iQOO 13. By mid-November 2025, the X Fold3 Pro, X100 Pro, X100, and iQOO 12 will receive the update. In mid-December 2025, the V60e, V50, V50e, T4 Ultra, T4 Pro, and T4R 5G are scheduled for the update. In the first half of 2026, the rollout will expand to the X Series (X90 Pro, X90), V Series (V40 Pro, V40, V40e, V30 Pro, V30, V30e), T Series (T4 5G, T4x 5G, T3 Ultra, T3 Pro, T3 5G), and Y Series (Y400 Pro 5G, Y400 5G, Y300 5G, Y200 Pro 5G, Y200 5G, Y200E 5G, Y100, Y100A, Y58 5G, Y39 5G).
