Vi launches ‘Vi Guarantee Program’, offers 130GB data to prepaid customers

Vi has announced a new Vi Guarantee offer, which will automatically add 10GB of mobile data every 28 days to the user's account.

Vodafone Idea, also known as Vi has announced a new program called “Vi Guarantee’ under which all new prepaid customers will be offered 130GB of high-speed data over one year. The network operator says 10GB of data will be automatically added to the customer’s account on every 28th day for 13 consecutive cycles.

However, the extra 10GB of mobile data will only be used once users have exhausted their quota and to avail the offer, customers will need to be on a daily data unlimited plan of Rs 239 or higher. These plans also offer benefits like unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.

To claim the additional mobile data, customers need to call 121199 or dial *199*199#. The Vi Guarantee offer is currently available to those with a 5G phone or users who recently upgraded to a 4G device, but those living in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and North and Orissa cannot avail the benefits.

The Vi Guarantee program is helpful if you often exhaust your daily mobile data. Apart from the additional data, Vi also offers weekend data rollover, unlimited mobile data from 12 AM to 6 AM at no extra cost and 2GB backup data if you happen to exhaust your monthly data limit, which can be claimed from the Vi app or by calling 121249.

A few days ago, Vi announced that it expects to roll out 5G services in select pocket in the next six to nine months.
