Valve, the company behind Counter Strike 2 and Portal Deck recently unveiled a new white-coloured Steam Deck OLED. The limited edition handheld gaming PC will have the same specs as the 1TB variant, but instead of all-black, it will have dual-tone white and grey colours.
In a blog post, Valve said that the Steam Deck OLED: Limited Edition White will be available worldwide on November 18 in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and all regions where the handheld PC is shipped.
Available in limited quantities, the white Steam Deck OLED comes with an exclusive white carrying case and a white microfiber cloth. The company also went on to say that the allocated stock “proportionally across each region” and that since it won’t be making any more white-coloured Steam Deck, so this might be your last chance to buy the console in a different colour.
To give you a quick recap, Steam Deck is powered by an AMD APU based on the Zen2 architecture and RDNA graphics. It runs on a Linux-based OS called SteamOS and packs 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of on-board storage.
All of this is crammed in a 7.4-inch anti-glare OLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 50Whr battery that supports 45W fast charging.
