Microsoft is hosting its Windows 10 hardware event on October 6 where it is likely to show new Surface Pro 4 along with premium Lumia devices running Windows 10 Mobile. If rumours are to be believed, Microsoft will also unveil an updated Band 2.
Ahead of the official event, Spanish site Microsoft Insider has released images which it claims are official renders of the new wearable from Redmond.

Microsoft received a lot of flak for design with the original band. The leaked renders show the tracker featuring a curved display and a new metallic finish around that curved display.
While the original wearable from Microsoft ran on a custom wearable architecture it will be interesting to see if Microsoft scales down its Windows 10 operating system to wearable and IoT scenario.
