The Xiaomi Mi4 has some serious competition. OnePlus, which launched its flagship OnePlus One in India a couple of months back, has announced its 16GB Silk White version on Amazon.in at Rs 18,999.

As reported by IndianExpress.com earlier, the price is cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi4, which is selling now at Rs 19,999. Most of the features of the phone are similar to that of the OnePlus One 64GB with a 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash, 4K resolution video with stereo recording and 5MP front facing camera and 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS IPS panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone will also have a 3100mAH lithium-polymer battery. Interestingly, the back cover is made out of powdered cashew if OnePlus is to be believed.
Unlike the 64GB version, this phone will run the Android v4.4 KitKat operating system in India as Cyanogen has an exclusive partnership with Micromax Yu in India.
With a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core processor, 578MHz Adreno-330 GPU and 3GB RAM, this phone will literally bring a flagship to Indian buyers, but at very affordable prices. The 64GB version is priced at Rs 21,999.
The phone will be available only for those with the invites.
