OnePlus 3T will go on sale for Amazon prime members today between 2pm and 3pm IST. The sale is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, while the regular sale will be held on Wednesday, December 14. OnePlus 3T has been priced in India starting at Rs 29,999 and goes up to Rs 34,999 for the top end model.
OnePlus 3T, the mid-cycle upgrade to the OnePlus 3, will go on sale for Prime members today, before other customers. “Due to limited quantities, members will be able to avail this offer while stock lasts”, Amazon notes on its FAQ page. While the OnePlus 3T Prime Early Access sale is exclusive to Prime members, Amazon however clearly states that being a Prime member does not guarantee that a user will be able to buy the OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus 3T is not the successor to the OnePlus 3. Instead, it is an improved version with better hardware specifications under the hood. In terms of dimensions and weight, the OnePlus 3T is exactly the same smartphone. It even features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) OLED display. However, the smartphone does come with a Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35 Ghz. It has 6GB RAM and features 64GB/128GB of internal memory.

There’s also a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with the Sony IMX 298 Sensor. OnePlus has added a Sapphire crystal cover for protection. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has been bumped to 16-megapixel, up from 8-megapixels on the original OnePlus 3.
The new version also gets a 3400mAh battery compared to the 3000mAh battery cell on the previous smartphone. The smartphone also comes with OnePlus’ proprietary Dash Charge support, which lets you charge the battery in just 30 minutes. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but the company promises to update the smartphone to Android 7 soon.
