HTC One M9 to be launched today, expected price is Rs 49,990

The HTC One M9 is likely to be priced at around Rs 49,990 and will compete with Samsung's flagship Galaxy S6.

HTC is all set to launch its flagship One M9 smartphone in India on April 14. The smartphone was unveiled at MWC, last month. The HTC One M9 is a premium smartphone that come with jewellery grade dual-metallic unibody design. It is powered by a top of the line octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Unlike the earlier M8, the phone doesn’t come with a dual camera at the rear and instead sports a 20MP camera with a larger sensor and sapphire lens. The 4MP Ultra Pixel camera might interest selfie addicts. The phone will also be the first to feature the HTC Sense 7 user interfaced based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and will give users a lot of curated options in everything from content to apps.

The HTC One M9 is likely to be priced at around Rs 49,990 and will compete with Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S6. The One M9 draws heavily from the experience and expertise of high-end watchmakers when it comes to using metal. HTC is now introducing a dual finish metal uni-body design with a single-part front bezel and better assembly quality.
