Asus Zenfone 5Z camera specifications

Asus Zenfone 5Z has dual rear cameras, a combination of 12MP 8MP sensors. The primary 12MP sensor has 4-axis stabilisation, f/1.8 aperture, and more. The phone comes with secondary 8MP wide-angle camera, claiming 200 per cent wider shots and hardware bokeh. It also supports AI scene detection to figure the subject being captured on its own and adjusts accordingly. It supports AI based grouping similar to Google Photos.

Asus Zenfone 5Z was globally launched at MWC 2018

Asus Zenfone 5Z made global debut alongside Zenfone 5 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona earlier this year. The company had confirmed at the time that it will bring both Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone 5 to India. The phone comes with iPhone X-style notch on top of the display and runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

Asus Zenfone 5Z expected price in India

Asus Zenfone 5Z price in India was revealed in a Flipkart listing. Expected to launch at a starting price of Rs 29,999, the phone will directly compete with OnePlus 6. The price is for the base storage model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Asus Zenfone 5Z with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage could be made available at Rs 32,999. The 8GB RAM+256GB storage model is expected to cost Rs 39,999.

Asus Zenfone 5Z listed on Flipkart ahead of launch

Asus Zenfone 5Z was listed on Flipkart ahead of official debut. The smartphone is expected to be available in two colour variants - Midnight Blue and Meteor Silver. Zenfone 5Z price in India was also spotted on the e-commerce website.

Asus Zenfone 5Z sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 90 per cent screen to body ratio. The screen also has an iPhone-X like notch on top. The screen is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone runs ZenUI, based on Android Oreo. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Asus Zenfone 5Z gets an all-glass unibody design.

Asus Zenfone 5Z is available in three storage variants in India - 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The internal space is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD slot. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip paired with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging. Zenfone 5Z features dual 12MP + 8MP rear cameras and an 8MP selfie camera.
