On Thursday, BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) released the 3.7 update, introducing a brand-new battleground, an immersive game mode, and several India-exclusive features. The update is currently rolling out to Android and iOS devices via their respective app stores.

“BGMI continues to evolve with every update, and with 3.7, we are delivering one of the most innovative gameplay experiences ever seen in the game. Golden Rondo and Golden Dynasty bring fresh strategic depth, while localized features ensure that Indian players feel a deeper connection to the game. Our commitment remains strong – to provide cutting-edge, engaging, and culturally relevant content for our BGMI community,” said Minu Lee, head of the IN publishing department at KRAFTON India.

The update includes India-exclusive features, such as Hindi voice packs to enhance in-game communication and make interactions more immersive. It also introduces India-focused events like the Golden Moon Event that features Moonlit Warfare, a special night-themed battle mode with adaptive vision mechanics. There is also an IPL-inspired BGMI Cricket League Exchange Centre that allows players to vote for their favourite teams and exchange in-game rewards.

The BGMI 3.7 update also unveils an all-new Rondo map, an expansive 8×8 km battleground featuring diverse terrain and cutting-edge gameplay mechanics. Whether engaging in open warfare or close-quarters combat, Rondo offers a dynamic experience.

The key locations on the Rondo map include:

Jadena City – A bustling urban area with towering buildings and escalators, perfect for fast-paced vertical combat.
NEOX Factory – An industrial zone featuring a vehicle test track and production facilities, ideal for long-range and vehicle-based encounters.
Yu Lin – A dense forest with ponds and thick vegetation, providing natural cover for stealth tactics.
Tin Lung Garden – Inspired by martial arts landscapes, this scenic area features rocky mountains, waterfalls, and traditional architecture for immersive combat.

Players on the Rondo map can now use deployable EMP devices to disable enemy electronics, scopes, and vehicles, creating opportunities for ambushes.

The update also brings a new destructible terrain, allowing players to use explosives or melee tools to alter the battlefield. Dynamic weather variations, such as fog and storms, impact visibility and tactics, make every match unpredictable. The multi-plane system ensurerandomizesed early-game encounters by assigning players to different aircraft.

The update expands tactical possibilities with a range of new vehicles and weapons designed to enhance gameplay. The 6-seater Pico Bus, a futuristic electric vehicle, offers acceleration boosts for faster rotations, while the Blanc SUV provides a rugged off-road experience with extra storage for extended survival. For combat, the JS9 SMG delivers a low-recoil, high-fire-rate option perfect for close-quarters engagements.

Stealth-focused players can take advantage of the Explosive Bow, a silent yet powerful long-range weapon, or the Stun Gun, which temporarily immobilises enemies for tactical crowd control.

The BGMI 3.7 update also introduces Golden Dynasty Mode, transporting players to an ancient realm of floating islands, regal palaces, and time-bending warfare. This mode blends fantasy elements with strategic battle royale gameplay, featuring a Mystical Kingdom setting, Reversal Blade, Golden Scepter, Palace Conquest, and Camel Mounts for unique in-game experiences.
