Rajasthan Royals successfully defended a target of 71 from six overs that was allotted in rain-curtailed match. Glenn Maxwell and Colin Munroe had come to open the Delhi Daredevils innings but Munro was run out off the very first ball of the match. Delhi could never get the required run rate down and ended up making 60/4. It was Rajasthan’s first match at home since their return to the IPL and it is a winning start for them after their lackluster performance against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
