RCB continued their dominance at home as they defeated Kings XI Punjab by 4 wickets to etch their first win in the tournament. Chasing 156, RCB had early hiccups as they lost Brendon McCullum and Virat Kohli early in the innings but AB de Villiers along with Quinton de Kock held on to the innings perfectly and provided the resistance. De Kock scored 45 while ABD went on to score a fifty. RCB did lose wickets in quick succession later in the innings but eventually went over the line comfortably.
