After honouring Ronaldo and Buffon on stage, UEFA play a video to explain the "new era" of the Champions League. 

The theme of the video is the confusion of how the league will now work. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gigi Buffon, Luis Figo and UEFA President Aleksander ?eferin play their part.

There are plenty of inside jokes in the video, including when Zlatan almost says that the new era of the Champions League will be a Super League, a reference to the aborted breakaway league a few years ago. Zlatan himself is shown to be a problem child in the video before eventually breaking down the new format while the Champions League anthem ios played by an live orchestra in the background. 

"The Champions League and goals are like ketchup – when you open them, they are coming," Ronaldo says after receiving his award on stage with a smile, receiving laughs and applause from the audience.
