Portugal were crowned as Euro 2016 champions after they beat France in the final on Sunday in Paris. Portugal had a bad start as Cristiano Ronaldo was subbed in the 25th minute due to injury. But Eder scored in extra-time to deny France any trophy.

Portugal change: Renato Sanches goes off and Eder comes on
77′ How crucial has Coman been for France since he’s come on

66′ Portugal change: João Moutinho (in) – Adrien Silva (out)
65′ CLOSE! Griezmann’s glancing header is just wide of the target. Coman with a precise cross from the left and Griezmann is six metres out and sends his header over. That was big chance – best of this game

# Ronaldo with a great gesture
HALF TIME: Portugal 0-0 France. France have offered most with Sissoko, Griezmann; Ronaldo subbed off
46′ No idea what any of those words mean but we’re guessing that this is bad for Ronaldo and his club Real Madrid for the pre-season

34′ Cedric is booked
33′ CLOSE! Sissoko with a great turn inside the box to create space for himself and shoots but it is parried by Rui Patricio
29′ Sissoko meanwhile brings focus back on the pitch. Super run down the right skipping past couple of Portugal players on the way
27′ Bruno Alves has gone down the tunnel to console a clearly emotional Ronaldo. Meanwhile will this spur Portugal on?
25′ Ronaldo goes off on the stretcher and on comes Quaresma. Nani has the captain’s armband
23′ Ronaldo throws the captain’s armband on the turf, is down and ready to be subbed off!
22′ Ronaldo is back on but doesn’t look good enough. Not really going full motor.
17′ Ronaldo looks to be in tears as he goes off the pitch to have his knee looked at by more Portugal physios. This can be huge for this game and for Portugal’s players
16′ Ronaldo is down and looks to be in distress. Has had multiple knocks so far. Needs an ice bag
9′ CLOSE! Griezmann header is tipped over by Rui Patricio. Ball chipped into the box and the French striker takes it first time towards goal and has his effort saved
7′ Griezmann’s effort goes wide. France with some good movement and play
4′ Tennis player Tsonga is supporting his native France. As you would expect him to
3′ This is a gorgeous sight
