After almost a five-month-long tournament, it is finally Chennaiyin FC who have won the Indian Super League 2018 final. Bengaluru FC, who were touted to be the favourites even before the start of the season came second best in the clash of the South. Goals from Mailson Alves and Raphael Augusto gave Chennai their second ISL trophy. For Bengaluru, Sunil Chhetri scored the opener. The match began with both the teams enjoying equalling success so far. But the opening goal by Chhetri set the tone for the match as Chennai ultimately emerged as the victors.
