There are several stories – folklore and mythological – associated with the celebration of Diwali, but how many are you really aware of? Now, most of us are aware that Deepawali, the festival of lights, marks the return of Lord Rama, brother Lakshmana and wife Sita, after 14 years of exile, but why – then – do we not worship Rama? Why is Goddess Lakshmi worshipped instead?
