A severed head was found in bushes in Pandesara locality in Surat on Saturday. The unidentified victim of apparent murder seemed to be about 18-20 years old, police said. Rest of the body was not found.
“We have called a dog squad. Forensic science laboratory (FSL) experts visited the site for assistance in investigation,” said DCP P S Bhabhor. Police were conducting further probe.
