Phugwara: Man booked after harassing wife for dowry

A man was booked for allegedly harassing his wife for dowry, police said Saturday. Amit Saini of Bhaura village was booked under Sections 498-A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the IPC. The case was registered against Saini on a complaint by his wife Nancy Saini, a resident of Pritam Nagar. She told police that she got married to Amit in November, 2015.
