CHENNAI, Aug. 13: The youth who slashed the throat of a college girl at Adayar on August 6 and escaped was arrested by the police on Wednesday at Saidapet Railway station. Some persons begging in fromt of the ‘Mercy Home’ opposite the victim’s house provided a vital breakthrough in identifying the culprit. The motive behind the attack has been established as robbery.
