Woman principal held for accepting bribe of Rs 30,000

A Government College Principal was today arrested from Ananthpur district by the officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau.

A Government College Principal was today arrested from Ananthpur district by the officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 for doing a official favor to the complainant,police said.

K Krishna Kumari,Principal,Government Junior College for Girls,at Gooty in Ananthapur district was caught red handed when she demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 30,000 from the complainant V Kiranmayi,who is working as a librarian in the college,they said.

Kumari took the bribe in her office for doing official favor of forwarding the medical bill to the tune of Rs five lakh of the husband of the complainant,they added.
