Media firm UTV Software Communications Ltd today reported over two-fold increase in its consolidated net profit for the year ended March 31,2011 at Rs 135.47 crore.
For the twelve months ended March 31,2010,the company’s net profit was Rs 53.33 crore.
Its sales for the year ended March 31,2011 increase 39.97 per cent to Rs 929.50 crore from Rs 664.05 crore in the previous fiscal,it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The firm’s scrips closed at Rs 642.90 per share,up 2.16 per cent compared to the previous close on the BSE.
