Uttarakhand government has decided to increase by Rs 10,000 per month the remuneration of ad hoc teachers working in undergraduate and postgraduate colleges of the state.
The government has agreed to the long-standing demand of ad hoc teachers working in undergraduate and postgraduate colleges to increase their remuneration to Rs 25,000 per month from the existing Rs 15,000 per month with retrospective effect from April one this year,official sources said.
An order to this effect would be issued shortly,they said.
