Shares of Unitech finally settled at Rs 34.95,down 3.45 per cent from its previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
In intra-day,the stock had shed 5.66 per cent to hit a low of Rs 34.15.
On the National Stock Exchange (NSE),Unitech closed the day at Rs 34.90,down 3.72 per cent from the previous close.
In terms of volume,over 10 crore shares of the company were traded on the two bourses.
Meanwhile,after a volatile session,the BSE key index Sensex ended the day with a gain of 71.60 points at 18,273.80.
