Torrent Power on Friday reported over 14 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 348.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30,2011.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 304.41 crore during the same quarter of the previous financial year,Torrent Power said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The total income of the company rose around five per cent at Rs 1,869.39 crore compared to Rs 1,787.62 crore during the same period last financial year.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 239,down 1.69 per cent on the BSE.
