Set in Mumbai,the film tells the story of Parvez (Neil Nitin Mukesh) who is a Mumbaikar and yearns to be a part of the India Shining dream. He is torn between his love for

Divya (Shahana Goswami),who is married to a corrupt cop Chiple (Kay Kay Menon) and his commitment towards his family.

Wanting to earn a quick buck,Parvez comes up with a plan to steal. The film also has a second story revolving around Priti (Soha Ali Khan),a small-time model and Vishal (Karan Nath),a cocaine junkie with big dreams. Intertwined in these two stories are a couple of other characters including Chutta (Vijay Maurya),a drug dealer, eunuch Begum (Saurabh Shukla) and a mysterious billionaire.

Director Sudhir Mishra says:

The film is a continuity of my films on Mumbai including Chameli,Dharavi and Iss Raat Ki Subah Nahin. It is about the stories that come out from the drains,by-lanes and the gutters of Mumbai. I listen to these stories and retell them in a different way.
