The Rajasthan government inked the much-awaited Barmer oil refinery deal with Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) on Thursday to set up a 9 MMTPA refinery-cum-petroleum complex in Barmer. Petroleum minister M Veerappa Moily said that the UPA is working towards making the nation self-sufficient in petroleum by 2030.
