The NIA may not oppose the bail plea of suspected Hizbul militant Liyaqat Shah,who was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police for his alleged role in a plot to carry out fidayeen strikes ahead of Holi.
The NIA,which took over the case on the direction of the MHA after Shahs arrest generated conflicting versions from the Delhi and J& Police,has already interrogated him. Sources said no evidence about Shahs involvement has been found so far.The court will hear the matter Wednesday.
