Karthi Sivakumar,the son of actor Sivakumar and the younger brother of Suriya,is all set to conquer the hearts of the Telugu-speaking audience with Awara. The film is complete and getting ready for release. Awara is in fact the Telugu-dubbed version of Paiyya,the Tamil film directed by Linguswamy,which is doing well at the box-office. The film has Tamannaah as the heroine while Milind Soman too plays a key role. Its a road movie with fights,music,comedy,romance et al making it lively. The music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Karthis Aayirathil Oruvan too was dubbed in Telugu.
Karthi will be doing a double role,that of a cop as well as a thief in the next film to be produced by Gnanavel Raja. It is to be made under the banner of Studio Green. Gnanavel Raja,who had got noticed as the producer of Paruthiveeran and whose Singam is under production,is now producing the remake of the Telugu hit Vikramarkudu,in which Ravi Teja had played the lead. Karthi will be the hero in the Tamil version,while Tamannaah will once again play his heroine. The film is yet to be titled.
