Border Security Force troops gunned down an unidentified Pakistani intruder,aged about 40 years,at the International Border in Jammu district on Saturday night. However,no incriminating material was found on him,a BSF spokesman said here on Sunday.
The intruder was shot dead around midnight on Saturday about 30 metres inside Indian territory. BSF DIG (Jammu) J B Sangwan said that Pakistani Rangers were apprised of the matter.However,they refused to acknowledge that the man was Pakistani.The body was later handed over to the police.
