Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 44 per cent jump in its total sales to 1,78,462 units in September.
The company’s total sales stood at 1,23,831 units in the corresponding month last year,HMSI said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales grew 21 per cent to 71,018 units last month,as against 58,508 units in September 2010,it added.
The company reported 64 per cent jump in scooter sales to 1,07,444 units last month compared to 65,323 units in the year-ago period.
