Gujarat ATS gets custody

The NIA,which has had Ansaris custody since October 8,earlier said it did not require his custody any longer.

Syed Zabiuddin Ansari was on Saturday handed over to the Gujarat ATS for 10 days by a Chief Metropolitan Magistrates court after another court sent him to judicial custody till November 3. The NIA,which has had Ansaris custody since October 8,earlier said it did not require his custody any longer. The Gujarat ATS has named Ansari as the prime accused in the 2006 blast on the the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Karnawati Express in which 25 people were killed.
