Godhra-based doctor Sujad Wali has filed a police complaint alleging that a cleric during a Friday prayer at a mosque has said that Wali and his father Zainuddin Wali are Satans agents. On Saturday,posters depicting Walis father as Satans agent with his landline number printed on it dotted the city.

Till 1996,our house was attacked 17 times by the members of our community.They are calling my father and me agents of Satan because my father has written some articles on Muslim communitys reformation in Mumbai-based Gujarati daily,Mumbai Samachar. Two months ago my fathers book,Sudhara Ni Dhara (A book of changes) was confiscated by these people, said Wali,who belongs to the Dawoodi Bohra community. Wali filed a complaint at Godhra B Division Police Station on Saturday naming secretary of Dawoodi Bohra community Najimuddin Doodhwala,Nuruddin Mithaborwala,Dawood Johar and Qutubbudin Jinwalla.
