The solo painting exhibition of Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata has been extended by another day. Mamata is exhibiting her works to raise election funds for her party. The paintings have already fetched the party about Rs 1 crore.
The buyers include people such as industrialists Sanjiv Goenka,Harsh Neotia,Rishi Agarwal and Srinjoy Bose.

All 95 paintings on display have been sold. Since more art connoiseurs are thronging to buy her work,the show has been extended, Shivaji Panja of Jago Bangla,the Trinamool Congress mouthpiece,which has organised the show,said.
