Private sector lender Dhanlaxmi Bank said on Friday it has increased base rate and Benchmark Prime Lending Rate (BPLR) by 50 basis points,effective Saturday. The base rate will be revised to 7.5 per cent per annum from present 7 per cent and BPLR to 16.5 per cent from present 16 per cent,it said in a statement.
